Please note the hotel is changed from Hilton to Double Tree Pittsburgh. They are very close to each other.

You call, and say it is for "Simple Design and Testing Conference" to book room.

We have reserved 10 rooms, 9 with single king bed, 9 with 2 beds.

The rate is $149/night. I will talk to group sales, it may reduce a little.

This hotel is 1.7 miles from the conference area. There are bus transportation, so you do not need a rental car.

From Airport, you can take a taxi, or 28x bus, it will take you to downtown, and Oakland.

Please put your last name here if you are sure that you are going to take the room, and you need to call the hotel to change the reservation from my name to your name at least 2 days ahead. I will call the hotel 24 hours ahead, to cancel all unclaimed rooms.

I booked hotel a bit far away from the venue (Holiday Inn at Monroeville—15 minutes away). The rate came to about $89 per night. I have rented a car for less than $90 for the duration of the visit. So, this worked out a lot cheaper than the hotel options I've seen so far on the wiki. Anyways, though I would let you know if you find this useful.
